DM Services was born from a desire to serve people and a passion to give that extra level of service and care that comes from taking a personal interest in our clients’ needs.
Our team consists of myself, Simon, my wife, Katie, and the light of our lives, our daughter Lucy. It has always been my motivation, and my pleasure to help people. After learning to clean windows I noticed a pattern of people asking if I was able or knew someone who could complete other services around their homes, but with the same level of care that I had shown. Coming from my background I was able to help and over time my side hustle of cleaning windows and doing odd jobs became so busy that I needed to choose to either organise myself into a business or stop taking work on. I was enjoying myself so much that it was a real no- brainer for me to create a small business. Then I could resolve people’s pain points, give them that wonderful, fresh clean window feeling, and at the same time enjoy a rich varied work life.
Born in the UK, I grew up in a farming family. I spent a year in Australia farming before a brief return to the UK, and then in 1998 a one-year trip to farm in New Zealand turned into a life of skydiving where I progressed from Parachute Packer to Instructor to Operations Manager. Later I spent eight years working in the insulation industry, eventually managing, before taking a new direction and training with an excellent Window Cleaner.
